Instructor - Joe Maser Ph.D.

Introduction to the Project

As part of the course, ESR 410/510 - Biodiversity of Oregon Wetland Plants , students are helping to create a web site which will contain descriptions (including pictures) of the common wetland plants found in the greater Portland area. Students are responsible for doing the background reasearch regard their chosen species, taking the photographs used in the web site and preparing the species descriptions.

The line drawings used in this web site are provided with the perimssion of the University of Washington Press. They come from the five volume set of Vascular Plants of the Pacific Northwest, C.L. Hitchcock, A. Conquist, M. Ownbey, and J.W. Thompson, 1969, University of Washington Press.
