Content

The pdf's contain all the material in written form presented in each section. The optional videos cover the same material with additional verbal explanation. If you are comfortable with your understanding of the pdfs, there is no need to watch the videos.

For purposes of this pre-course, you can ignore all references to computer commands, which are minimal but covered in the actual course. You can skip references to the computer in the pdfs/videos where it occurs. The focus for the pre-course is limited to basic statistical concepts such as a histogram, standard deviation, etc.

The pdfs are updated on a regular, ongoing basis. The videos are updated less frequently. So if there are any minor differences between the two presentations, the pdfs are more current.
