Here members of the group taste different types of sherry. Unfortunately, we had five different ones to try, but were given only a few minutes to complete the task!

Jerez de la Frontera (or just Jerez for short) is a small town very near the coast of Spain. We took a day trip there from Sevilla. Jerez is known for its wineries, particularly those that produce sherry. In fact, the name sherry is said to be derived from the name Jerez, supposedly by the English sailors who purchased it from Spain but could not pronounce the name of the city!
