What some define as fourth wave, others define as third. Perhaps the most balanced view is that we are experiencing a New Wave and a fourth is yet to come.
This new wave is taking what Third Wave brought to the coffee movement, while borrowing from Second Wave culture. It is reaching into the past, while looking to the future.
Fourth wave will be developed by the coffee equivalent to the digital natives, kids who are growing up today with progressive new wave coffee as part of the daily cultural lifestyle, in hip urban areas and small towns alike.
