Personal strategy:You will need to be personally engaged in solving environmental problems to make a difference. That involvement will include exercising your skills, learning new information and deciding which areas are most important to you. Thus, your involvment should reflect a strategy that uses your assets and compliments your personal values.
Consider this question:What are the relative benefits of being involved in research with ESM faculty and graduate students vs. getting an internship at a local agency or company? What do you think would be the benefits of each? Which is a better match for your career path, or are they both just as good?
