Diversity
Over the past year I have come to understand the relationship between design and human experience on a different level. In the book How Buildings Learn by Stewart Brand he discusses how important it is to design a building providing to the needs of every human. Being handy caped, male, female, black, or white, a building should he accessible to all. I see class, race, gender, sexual orientation, and ability being impacted in design through different architects work. For example, world renown architect Frank Gehry may build a complex building that might be difficult for disabled people to access, as apposed to Brand’s architecture witch would be easy accessible to all people because Brand would keep things more simple in order for use and factuality to be easy.
