Courses on Reconstructability Analysis

I have taught two courses on Discrete Multivariate Modeling methodology, known in the systems literature as Reconstructability Analysis (RA).

·         SySc 551/651 Discrete Multivariate Modeling (DMM) presents the theory of RA, mainly information theory plus some graph theory.

·         SySc 431/531 Data Mining with Information Theory (DMIT) is a project course in which students applied RA (specifically OCCAM, the RA software developed under my direction in Systems Science at Portland State) to data they bring to the course.

When these courses were taught remotely they were recorded. This webpage provides the syllabi and flyers for the two courses, links to recordings of class sessions, and exports of the Canvas sites for the courses.
