In this activity, you and a partner will practice your search skills. The first pair to find all of the items will get a reward. Try to use a different search tool from our computer elective homepage for each item.

When you find the item you need to do the following things:

• write the name of the search tool you used (ex. Yahoo, Vivisimo, AltaVista…),
• write the name of the site where you found the information and answer the question if applicable.

• Find a picture of Albert Einstein.

• Find the weather report for Bangkok, Thailand.

• Find the lyrics to The Beatles' song "I Want to Hold Your Hand." When was the song first recorded?

• Find the price of rice in Japan.

• Find a recipe for chocolate chip cookies.

• Find the movie that made the most money in the year 2001.

• Find directions between your house and PSU.

• Find out who was the highest paid player in NBA basketball in 2001.  How much did he make?

• Find out when "The Simpsons" first appeared on television.

• Find the person credited with the invention of the sewing machine.  What was his/her name?

• Find a news article about Korea.

• Find the location of the island of Guam.
