The goals for this unit are:

1. Appreciate the importance of the three main determinants of student success: curriculum, interaction with faculty and interactions with peers.
2. Know where to find information appropriate to your situation: freshman, transfer, or change in department.
3. Get some outside advice for students going to college.
4. Understand the ESM learning model and how it relates to different types and modes of courses in our curriculum.
