Biographical Details:

William Perkins was born, perhaps, about 1512 in Warwickshire.  It is believed that the name of his wife was Johne or Joan.  Six children have been attributed to them.  In all probability the family lived in the vicinity of the closely neighboring villages of Abbots Salford and Salford Priors in Warwickshire.  It has been reported that William's will was dated November 24, 1559, and was proved April 11, 1560.  Presumably, William Perkins died sometime between these dates.  Concomitantly, it has been reported that his five youngest children were all below sixteen years of age in 1559.
