This is the view from our room at Echoes. The small hill to the right
of the center of the picture has a large rock formation, barely visible
in the photo, called "ruined castle." To the left along the ridge
is Mt. Solitary; I hiked almost to the top before I encountered some very
steep rocks and decided to turn back. Most of the hike is at about
the level of the ridge.
