Dr. Toth has spent a number of summers traveling in Europe and while at Weber State designed and participated in a study abroad program that was centered in London but also visited parts of England and the Irish Republic.  He has long been interested in the Great War and in the study of charismatic leaders and is the author of The Theory of the Two Charismas, a study of the ways in which one charismatic leader is often followed by another.

The two courses he will be offering in the London during fall term of 2001 draw on those enthusiasms, bringing them to life with a variety of activities and media in the classroom and visits to salient sites in London and the surrounding area.
