A colleague/friend asked me once, “ When was the last time you did something for the 1st time?” I love the image that provokes and it remains one of the reasons I continue to find great joy in teaching. I believe health education offers some of the most valuable lessons our students can acquire. After 11 years teaching middle school and high school health and physical education, I arrived at PSU in 1989. I served as one of the original start up faculty for the Graduate Teacher Education Program in a variety of ways. I have primarily been a cohort leader for students seeking a secondary license. I have also co-lead with a variety of different faculty members and most recently served as the coordinator for the program. |
