Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter, Instagram. All of these popular social networking sites that are used so prominently today essentially began with the idea that MySpace brought into existence. The whole concept of sharing stories, photos and other personal information via the internet made MySpace popular among the age groups 12-25. The idea of adding "friends" and being able to connect to other peoples pages and leave comments made this type of social networking spread like wildfire and thus making it one of the most marketable and valuable concepts to date.
