Identities are funny things, or not!

I began my collage by considering all the global companies that I have purchased things from (Apple, Intel, Safeway, etc.). I then looked at the effects that these companies have on the planet and the people living on it. In the case of Safeway, my personal experience has shown me that they are a huge contributor to landfills, because they don't make much effort to recycle. Intel has built a large number of facilities in and around Israel, helping their economy and contributing to the continuing bloodshed over control of Jerusalem. Apple has major dealings with Intel, and although they are (as far as I know) much better about recycling than Safeway, they still help to generate fairly significant amounts of waste, especially e-waste.

I also decided that since air travel is one of the largest contributors to globalization, and I'm planning two trips, one to Mexico around Thanksgiving and one at an as yet to be determined time in the future, I should include images to express them. I hope that my second trip will not utilize air travel, since it is so inefficient. I would like to travel along the surface and see all of the country between here and there, wherever “there” ends up being.
