I think there are several questions that need to be addressed in an open forum, such as our Teaching and Learning with Technology Roundtable.
Question set 1: Is technology valuable in its own right? Are technology rich classes a valuable experience for students? Do these have to be examined on a more rigorous standard than do the traditional courses?
Question set 2: How much do we want to spend on targetted faculty development and how much on general development? Can we link targetted development to institutional needs? Can we justify general development for longer term goals? Do all faculty have a "right" to the same level of professional development support and technical support?
What questions do you have?
Bring them to TLTR on Friday, February 14 at 2:00 in Neuberger Hall Room 446.
