Assignment 3: Statistical test of spatial distribution

This assignment is worth 10 points. Please see the late work policy.

The worksheet and practice data set will be handed out in lab.

Analysis of example data

Using the data provided in class, perform statistical analyses to determine if you can say whether the spatial distribution of the population was random or clumped.

The null-hypothesis is that the population is randomly distributed.

Your data

You might want to consider attempting to perform the same set of analysis on the data you collected on the grid of points.
