Introduction to Environmental Science ESM 102 - online section

Welcome

We are offering a totally online section for ESM 102. This section parallels the hybrid lecture (1/2 face-to-face:1/2 online) and the workshop laboratory sections that are taught on campus. There are several key features of this class:

• Each week is a unit that has a set of assignments
• Each week has a laboratory session that helps build the background and skills
• There are field exercises that you will have to do on your own

Textbook and other materials

The textbook is the draft of a text being written by Professor Rueter. It is available for free online (as a pdf file) at:

Smaller sections of the text are also availalbe at that same site.

The week-by-week lecture notes will be posted through D2L and at this site below. Please use the D2L site as your primary contact because that is where the assignments are.
