Outreach

Dr. Widenhorn is actively engaged in the community. He works with local high school teachers through the "Partners In Science" program, advises the university's science outreach group, and partners with the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry on projects.

Science Outreach Society

The Science Outreach Society is an extracurricular community outreach group at Portland State University that was created in late 2010.  The goal of this organization is to bridge all of the major science disciplines and use collective efforts to perform fun and informative presentations for science enthusiasts.
