MAP QUIZ GUIDELINES
You will be asked to locate within a reasonably approximate distance the following places on a blank map provided by the instructor. The map template will have the rivers major rivers sketched in, as well as mountain ranges and major bodies of water. Also, the cities and features will be displayed during the quiz, so you do not have to memorize them.
Feel free to consult any available sources to prepare for the quiz--e.g., Google Maps, atlases, the library reference room. There will be 100 points total (4 per correct answer), with partial credit awarded for close approximations. Note that cities which exist on major rivers should be noted as sitting on those rivers on the map for full credit.
