Where did we stay?

At the University of Oregon's

in Charleston, Oregon

A lovely place to study Marine Biology

We had to rough it, with the female students staying in the undergrad. dorm. (above), the male students in
the graduate dorm, and Lynn and Melinda in the faculty cottage (to the left).

The undergraduate dorm contained a long room
of cubicles

Each cubicle had a closet, a desk, and a single bed up above the desk.

The graduate dorm contained lots of small individual rooms--a wee bit stuffy.

Of course, there was a sitting room and TV at the end of the hall
And then there was the dining hall, with a fireplace at one end (Cami, did you ever get the fire to stay lit?).  The food was good and plentiful.  The french toast with strawberries and whipped cream that we were served on Sunday morning was incredible.
