| Stop 3: Kincheloe Quarry
Thank you Mr. Kincheloe for giving us permission to stop and bang on rocks in your quarry - we found blueschist, greenschist, a reddish colored quartzite, and a slightly greenish/veined marble Note the students hovering around the trusty Enterprise Renta Vans - is it time to leave yet? |

Melissa Riopel took this picture looking back at the
entrance to the quarry. The noticeably red rock turned out to be
a brick-colored quartzite (hard enough to scratch glass).
