Sync involves two parameters:

1) Reference frequency: Speed ("video black")
2) Frame count: Address/Location ("time code")

Comes in three forms:

1) LTC
2) VITC
3) MTC

Two video formats:

1) NTSC
2) PAL

1) 30 fps
2) 29.97 fps
