Menu Shortcuts Plug-in

How to get there

From the Plug-ins Menu, choose TGTools, then Menu Shortcuts.

What it does

The Menu Shortcuts plug-in allows you to assign special key combinations to any of Finale’s menu items.

Note: Keyboard shortcuts defined with the Menu Shortcuts plug-in take precedence over existing keyboard functionality in Finale, as well as any keyboard shortcuts defined using Simple Entry’s Edit Keyboard Shortcuts. For example, if you use the Menu Shortcuts plug-in to assign Shift-1 to Select Display Colors under the View Menu, the Shift-1 keystroke will no longer be available for assigning metatools in any of the Main Tools, nor will this keystroke switch to the 64th Rest Tool while using Simple Entry.
