Pieter Vandenberge, Portland State University
Math Club Intro and Polyhedral Nets.

Math Club is a meeting group for all math students at Portland State. It’s a place to get together to meet each other and talk about what interests us most in math while doing fun math activities and eating pizza. This week, after an introduction to Math Club and ice breakers, we’ll use the graphing program Geogebra to create flattened versions of polyhedra (3-D polygons). These flattened versions are called polyhedral nets. We’ll print these out and use them to create our own personal polyhedra. Please bring a device (tablet, laptop); we’ll provide the rest.
