  1. President-Chris Adams brought up the question of when the next CMENC chapter meeting should be held. The quorum present decided that Thursday 12/2/1999 at 12:00pm was the best time for the last meeting of the quarter.
  2. President brought the board up to date on the progress of the acceptance of the chapter's constitution by SOC (Student Organization Council). It needs to be revised and resubmitted to the SOC in order to establish our membership as a student group at PSU.

A tentative date for the board to work on the constitution was set for Thanksgiving weekend.

  3. President reported on progress of organizing presentations for the CMENC chapter meetings. David Jimerson: Changing male voice/Children's voices? Dr Bruce Browne: Choral Conducting and rehersal technique question session SWOKE (Southern Washington and Oregon Kodaly Educators): Kodaly-inspired music teaching. These presentations will not occur until after the convention in January, most likely.
