Note that I am now teaching at the International School of Aberdeen in Scotland,
but occasionally serve on committees.
Previously I taught in both the University Studies
and the Systems Science Graduate programs at Portland State University.
I completed an NSF International
Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Zoology at the University of British Columbia. At UBC I worked primarily
with Leticia Aviles and Michael Doebeli; at PSU I have mostly collaborated with Martin Zwick.
My research focuses
on evolutionary theory and I enjoy a balance of both research and teaching. I have also worked as
a software design engineer.
