"TEACHER
CONVICTED OF SEX WITH BOY ARRESTED AGAIN"
Feb.03.98
SUMMARY
This article reports that Mary Kay LeTourneau was arrested again. LeTourneau, a former grade teacher, pleaded guilty of second- degree child rape in August (1997). Because she began having sex with the boy, 13-year-old, since 1996 and delivered baby girl in may 1997. She, however, was released from a jail in Jan. 1998. Nevertheless, LeTourneau was not permitted to contact with the boy under the terms of her release, she met him in a car again and they were found by the police. So she was arrested again.
RESPONSE
I heard the news that LeTourneau delivered boy's second baby and both of them insisted that she is not guilty because they love each other. Trough that news, I knew about this story so that I was wondering about full story. That is incredible story. Is that possible 35year-old school teacher and 13 year old boy's love? I don't think so. I think, it is pretty though to understand to Americans, too. This article didn't use direct expressions to express their negative point of views. However we can read their negative point of view, especially third paragraph of second page (about their love). I think this article is pretty clear to understand.
