"Save the Forest"

Summary

The forest is obviously changed by cutting trees. What we have to consider is that cutting trees influences existing wildlife, such as water quality and resource values in the forest. The value of timber is habitat for wild species, controlling climate, and water shad. Thus, cutting trees destroy forest ecologists say that all ecosystems, trees animals, and water, in the forest are coexistent, therefore luck of one leads destruction of all. Logging companies are starting to understand that they need to protect forest, leaving dead trees to stand is good for species in order to live. We have to protect the ecosystems in the forest to prevent the climate from changing or pollution will spread through many forests. Loggers and scientists need to consider the benefit of protecting the forest.

Response

This article reports that we are losing forest from the view of saving forest. I heard that many forests have been lost recently in Oregon. This is because the increasing population demands to build houses, and logging companies do not want to stop cutting trees in order to get their commercial profit. In other words, we are taking away the habits of species, or having difficulty controlled climate because of destruction of nature by humans' ego. In addition, losing forests reflects on our daily lives, such as causing flood or drought. Forest ecologists say that disruption of one of ecosystem in the forest effects is very harmful. Therefore, cutting trees by human beings may destroy all of the species and resources in the forest. Moreover, we ought to realize that if human beings continue to cut trees unreasonably, it may lead to a crisis in human life. We need to balance the profit and protection of nature resources so that we take care of nature. We must coexist with nature.
