Éste es el centro de Mérida, muy cerca del teleférico y de nuestra hotel. Durante el día, no tiene muchas personas -- están trabajando o durmiendo. Pero de seis de la tarde a las dos o tres en la manaña, todos están caminando, hablando, tocando mùsica, riendo, y poniendo las carretillas. También, parece que cada carro tiene una alarma. Es muy difícil dormir en Mérida.
This is downtown Mérida, very close to the base of the cable car and to our hotel. During the day, it doesn't have too many people -- they are all working or sleeping. But from six o'clock in the evening to two or three in the morning, everyone is walking around, talking, playing music, laughing, and setting off firecrackers. Also, it seems that every car has a car alarm. It is pretty difficult to sleep in Mérida.
