Career Acknowledgements
It is impossible to spend 35+ years in a profession without
owing huge debts of gratitude to teachers, mentors, students, colleagues, and
friends. My career has been no different than others. If I've seen
farther, it is because I've stood on the shoulders of giants. Below is a
partial list of all the various people who spent time with me in some
significant way to make my research better, to provide access to important
casts, to make me a better teacher, to improve my thinking, to better my
time-management, to make it possible to study rare skeletons of modern taxa, to
allow me to study the holy relics (hominid and hominoid fossils), and
just generally to support me in incalculable ways.
My gratitude to all of you for your help in making my
career as successful as it has been
The scrolling list of names will always be incomplete.
Try as I might, there are just too many people to name and my list will forever
be in flux. If you think I've missed you or someone else significant,
please let me know.
