Description: The
course covers fundamental abstract concepts common to all branches of
mathematics. Special emphasis is placed on the ability to understand and
construct rigorous proofs. This course is specifically intended to help
Mathematics majors and minors and other mathematically inclined
students prepare for Mth 344, Mth 311, and other upper division
courses.
Prerequisites: Mth 253, 261
