SEC v. Evans
    Dr. Fruits was retained by the SEC to provide an economic, financial, and statistical evaluation of alleged insider trader. He performed an event study and other statistical tests to evaluate whether Defendant's trades in question were statistically significantly different from earlier trades. Dr. Fruits calculated Defendant's profits from the trades in question.
Lam v. Kaiser Foundation Hospitals, et al.
    Dr. Fruits was retained by Plaintiff to evaluate the diminished earnings capacity associated will alleged medical malpractice. Dr. Fruits performed a statistical analysis of Plaintiff's business income before and after the alleged event and calculated the diminshed earnings capacity.
Vitascan v. GE Healthcare Financial Systems
    Dr. Fruits was retained by Plaintiffs to evaluate the extent to Plaintiffs' body imaging revenues and profits were affected by the allegedly malfunctioning body imaging machinery. He performed a statistical analysis of the relationships between machine "downtime" and Plaintiffs' revenues and profits.
Squaxin Island Tribe, et al. v. Stephens
    Dr. Fruits was retained by Plaintiffs to evaluate the extent to which their tribal members and tribal activities contributed to Plaintiffs' retail motor fuel business.
Androutsakos v. M/V Psara, et al.
    Dr. Fruits was retained by Defendants to calculate the cost of care and foregone income from alleged tort, accounting for differences between U.S. and EU cost of living and taxes.
In re: Consolidated PERS Litigation
    Dr. Fruits was retained by Defendants to calculate the economic impacts associated with large-scale public employee retirement system reforms.
CollegeNET v. ApplyYourself
    Dr. Fruits was retained by Defendant to evaluate alleged lost profits and reasonable royalty claims for purported patent infringement. He testified in a Daubert hearing to determine whether an expert's testimony was grounded in the methods and procedures of science.
