Items will be posted with the newest at the top. posted 19 October 2008 The files for Writing Test #1 have been updated to change them from .rtf to .doc. If you downloaded the test before this date, it may have opened in a text editor that was unable to show the map on page 2 of the test. posted 23 September 2008 GER 101 starts 29 September. All sections meet in 450 Neuberger. Please read the "Fall Quarter Startup Message". All tests and assignments will be announced HERE, in CLASS, on the "Schedule & Assignments" pages (links at left), and by EMAIL. This page and the "Schedule & Assignments" page give the general timing; within that framework, instructors will announce specific start and deadline days & times for their own classes. If on the "Schedule & Assignments" page you do not see a live link to the new item, the item is NOT YET READY and you are not yet responsible for it. Please don't contact your instructor about it, since that just takes time and can delay the update. We don't forget these things. We do not want people anxiously jumping the gun on the upcoming activities, there may also be (rare!) delays. The best ways to stay informed are to: 1) check this page several times a week (it comes up automatically when you enter the course website); 2) go to class (obviously!); 3) check your email frequently (be sure the account you use is the one whose address you have given to your instructor, that your mailbox is not full, and that your service will accept the attachments). |
