Very little specific is known regarding Nancy Catherine Agnew, beyond that she was born in Mason County, Illinois, probably in Salt Creek Township, and was a daughter of Lee Constantine Agnew and his first wife Margaret McDaniel Agnew. Subsequently, she married Jacob Hendrickson Potts on April 21, 1881, and migrated with him to eastern Kansas a few years later. They family later moved to Bartlesville, Oklahoma, about 1909. Nancy Catherine Agnew Potts died in Bartlesville on March 8, 1942, and was buried with her husband in White Rose Cemetery.Source Citations:
