Choropleth Maps

1. Load clipped geology
2. Spatial Join geology to landslides.
4. Click the [recno] field, then click the summarize button, click OK
5. This gives a count of how many slides occured in each unique polygon
6. This summary table can be joined back to the original newgeol table
7. Right-click newgeol layer and Attribute Join the summarized data.

8. Symbolize (layer properties), by quantity, graduated colors, using the count field.
9. Admire your pretty map!
