This letter is included for the same reason as Robin's letter. A
letter is one of the oldest forms of communication and that is it's sole
purpose. It seemed right to include this under communication.

Dear Xavien,
First and foremost, I liked your essay. The issues that you address
are valid and defined accurately.
The fundamental error that you (and I) have made is that our essays
diverge from being a story of
evolution and more of a Darwinian perspective on humanity (or ,in my
case, my dog).
Prior to learning that we had to include population pressure, among
other things, my essay seemed
quite good, as I assume you thought of your own. Take what you want
from what you previously wrote
and form an essay that both fulfils you own curiosity and the
Professors expectations.
I have a few ideas. The human mind is an obvious marvel of
evolution. It is apparent to me that
an increase in intelligence is a method of survival. You seem to be
very fond of the brain and I definitely
encourage it. The brain is absolutely incredible. Here are a few things
to think about for your revision:
1) Why are there not other species of Homo that are comparable to
modern man?
2) Why did all other species Homo die off? Did modern man survive some
cataclysmic event?
With this knowledge, I hope you can write a very effective essay.
Sincerely,
Wm. J. Strauss
