In another life I was a linguist specializing in Japanese. I have a site for the first two books of the Man'yousyuu, an old collection of ancient Japanese poetry. I've translated, annotated and transliterated each of the poems in those first two books, and included in the site is a comprehensive dictionary of the words occurring in the poems. If you have an interest in ancient Japan or Far East poetry, you might enjoy it.

I also really love to write software. I maintain a page of some of the interesting things I've written. Feel free to download and use anything you want. (I still play chess — and lose! — against the engine I wrote years ago.)
