Molecule of the Week #1

famotidine (PepcidAC)

I believe the molecule is famotidine. It is an active ingredient in Pepcid AC.
Pepcid AC® (famotidine) is used for treatment of stomach ailments such as acid indigestion and gastroesophageal reflux disease.
Famotidine is a white to pale yellow crystalline compound that is freely soluble in glacial acetic acid, slightly soluble in methanol, very slightly soluble in water, and practically insoluble in ethanol.
