1. (4 points) Give complete IUPAC names for the following, including designation of stereochemistry if it is specifically shown:

2. (6 points) Refer to the Newman diagram below and rewrite the same compound in a line structure and give it a proper IUPAC name.
4-bromo-2,2,3-trimethylpentane
When this compound undergoes an E2 elimination with KOH in ethanol, one alkene is the major product. Write the structure and name of the major product, including an indication of whether it is the E or Z isomer.
(E)-3,4,4-trimethyl-2-pentene
There is also one other alkene formed in the E2 reaction. Write its structure and name.
