For our photojournalism project we would like to pick a spring term objective since Dave is in our group and he was not here for the other terms it would be fair to
pick one from this term. We decided to pick the third spring term objective which says “focus on ordinary aesthetics experiences in everyday life highlights power
over and power relations dynamics in the history of blues, jazz, and theatre arts.” We would like to focus our photos from an area of NW Portland from on 23rd
from Burnside to Lovejoy. The reason we would like this area is because it is mostly new but we will focus on the new taking over the old. And our photos will
try to indicate this. We will try to highlight the experiences of everyday life so that it will remain focused on our objective.
