What is the
knowledge/power conflict about the quilts?
The love and
trouble article I read today at home
Was interesting
and was cool.
I never read
this thing before until I came to class,
The thing
I thought was interesting was how the quilts were passes
Some things
they knew about the quilts,
And some were
left untouched.
But one person
knew for sure she wanted them at last.
But they were
not given to her,
Because of
knowledge left silent.
At last one
person took them all,
Which was
the right thing they thought,
So Maggie’s
lap was filled with quilts.
Some people
knew what these things meant,
Yet others
had no clue.
Because of
knowledge left untouched,
The quilts
were left to her.
