The Cradle Will Rock
This movie was not much of
an exciting thing for me. The actors were good, the goal was established,
but the lines were confusing, it skipped around a lot from place to place
and I got lost very easily throughout the film. I know this paper
is supposed to be making someone want to watch this movie but I don’t think
I can do that. It is hard to convince someone to watch something
that really had no effect on you. Throughout this paper instead of
convincing someone to watch the film I would like to do something else.
I would like to tell you why this film was not so inspiring for me.
A couple of reasons why I
disliked this film was because first it was boring, there was nothing to
get my attention once in a while. Second I feel that the producer
didn’t do a very good job with the cameras and the way that he played out
the film, from scene to scene. And third I didn’t like the scope
of the film. I didn’t like it’s destination, the place where it was
supposed to end up. The reason I feel this way is because the actors
were boring. It seemed to me like all of them were probably trying
to hard to act good. It wasn’t in a natural setting it seemed to
me.
The way that the producer
made his effects and changes from scene to scene I didn’t really like.
It seemed to make no sense to me of how he was going back and forth from
scene to scene in no particular order. It also frustrated me that
I got lost in the film and I lost track of who was who. But of course
that cleared up by the end.
Maybe it was my imagination
or something like that but it didn’t seem to me like this movie was very
good. I would not recommend it because I simply didn’t like it.
Maybe it’s just me but that is the way I feel about this film. Another
reason maybe I didn’t really like it was because it had to do with theater
and I wasn’t much of a theater lover from the beginning. So I might
not know the passion that these people have for acting but of course not
everyone is the same. So that might be why I disliked the film.
So if you like theater and acting then I would probably recommend this
film, but other wise I would not recommend it.
