Petit Quiz 3

Petit quiz 3 will consist of two sections:

1. a verb quiz;
2. an exercise using the present participle (Imaginez 9.2)

The verb quiz will follow the format of prior verb quizzes. A list of verbs and a practice quiz are available here:

In the section on present participles you will a) write (conjugate) the present participle of given verbs in order to complete sentences; and b) write your own conclusions for 2-3 sentences which contain or require a present participle, in a personal fashion. For both exercises you will need to know the forms of the present participle for regular and irregular verbs. Here are some examples of each task:

Partie a:

• Je suis devenu fatigué en ___ [jouer] aux jeux vidéos. (en jouant)
• En ___ [aller] au travail ce matin, Martine a vu un accident. (en allant)

Partie b: complétez les phrases avec un verbe convenable et une réponse personnelle.

• J'aime courir en ... ?? fumant.
• Il ne faut pas étudier à la bibli ... ?? en chantant.
