National Budget Practices Study

These files are from a study by Dan O'Toole and
Brian Stipak on the budget practices of local
governments.  National surveys of local governments
were carried out in 1986 and 1996.

Data files:
budget86.sav, budget96.sav
These are SPSS files. 

Documentation:
The 1996 SPSS file is well documented by the variable
and value labeling.  For the 1986 SPSS file see the
budget86.doc file for documentation.
