  • Expectations and Workload: You will have grammar assignments due for almost every class.  Many of the assignments will be completed in your textbook, others will be handed in to me.  Please be sure to complete all assignments before class. I do not accept late homework.  I expect you to come to class with your homework complete.  I also expect you to be ready to participate in activities related to using the grammar.  Grammar assignments will include writing tasks, speaking tasks, and grammar exercises.

Attendance:  Attendance is part of your grade.  If you miss classes, it will lower your participation grade.  If you must miss a class, please call or e-mail me before the class.  Also remember that you are responsible for any information you miss if you are absent.  If you miss a quiz or a test, you cannot make it up, so please be in class on those days.

Participation:  Active participation in all class activities is required.  If you participate actively, you will learn more in this class.  Please try your best!

Grading: Your final grade will be based on your class participation & homework (20%), class work/quizzes (30%), midterm exam (20%) and final exam (30%).  Scores must be above 70% in all three areas in order to pass to level 4 grammar.
