Attendance and Homework:
Attendance is part of your grade. If you miss 3 or more classes, it will
lower your grade by 10%. If you must miss a class, please call or e-mail
me before the class. Also remember that you are responsible for any information
you miss if you are absent. If you miss quiz, you cannot make it up, so
please make sure to be in class on those days. It is important to
do your homework on time if you want to make good progress. All assignments
must be on time to be graded.
Quizzes and Exams:
There will be a quiz when we finish studying a particular area of grammar.
If you are absent on the day of a graded quiz, you will not be able to
take it later. There will also be a final exam which will cover everything
we study in this class.
Participation: Active
participation in all class activities is required. If you participate actively,
you will learn more in this class.
Please try your best!
Grading: Your
grade will be based on your performance on tests and on your ability to
use English grammar correctly when speaking. In order to pass the
class, you must maintain a passing average of 70%. A large part of
your final grade will be based on classwork, so please do your best!
