Cosponsorship of Events

The following is a policy of Campus Scheduling.

Event Classification and Fees:

An Internal Event is solely planned, controlled,  and managed by one or more PSU programs, departments, student organizations, or committees.  Student organizations and SFC funded departments or programs are not charged a room rental fee.  May be charged appropriate set-up, equipment, or clean up fees.

A Co-Sponsored Event is any event or activity where an Internal User and an External User share any degree of responsibility for planning, control, or management of the event.  The Event must fit within the mission of the co-hosting PSU entity.  The primary Internal User will be charged an internal room rate and/or charged appropriate set-up, equipment, and cleanup fees.  To recieve the internal rate, the Internal User must fill out a co-sponsorship form. (can be found on the SALP website under Student Group Resources/ Forms).

An External Event is any event in which an individual or group external to a PSU program, department, student group, or committee plans, controls, or manages the event.  The External User will be charged the external rental rate and all appropriate fees.

Exceptions can only be granted by the University President or desgnee.  Designees may include Director of Auxiliary Services, Associate Director of Auxiliary Services, or the Director of Campus Event Scheduling.
