Receiving a budget

Funding for student organizations is made by student-run funding committees.  The Student Fee Committee (SFC) allocates money directly to some student organizations as well as departments and programs.  The Student Organization Committee (SOC) receives funds from the SFC to allocate in smaller amounts to student organizations who do not receive direct funding from the SFC.  The process for receiving funding directly from the SFC is outlined in their guidelines.
