Mission:

AIGA is a student branch of the American Institute for Graphic Arts, and at PSU, AIGA means "friends of graphic design." That means that where school leaves off, this student group steps in. PSU AIGA is a student run group that supports, discusses and explores issues related to studying and practicing graphic arts and communication design. We strive to create community within PSU's Graphic Design department and foster connections between PSU and the greater Portland art and design community, including professionals who work in the fields we strive to master. We sponsor and support creative endeavors and arts events, and want to help make possible the great ideas students have about furthering their educations and make possible meaningful connections with other artists and designers.
